In 2017, the auditorium was refurbished from one of the existing buildings on the church site. Specifically designed as a modern-style venue, it is available for hire for a variety of events.
With a large main space that seats up to 400 people, sound and video equipment, a stage with a lighting system, a catering kitchen, disabled access, toilets (including an accessible toilet), a parent and baby room, and on-site and local parking, it is ideal for conferences, weddings, concerts, corporate or school events, theatre productions and more.
In the local town centre there are a variety of shops and restaurants that are in walking distance from the site. Nearby accommodation is also available, making the auditorium an ideal choice for a multi-day conference or a late-night event.
THE COMMUNITY BLOCK
The community block is situated in a building behind the main auditorium. There are two medium-sized rooms (which can be opened up to form one large space, if needed), a stage with sound and video equipment, a catering kitchen and toilet facilities (including an accessible toilet). This space is ideal for conferences, meetings, and social events with meals.
